HDZ Services

HDZ Services.

The HDZ supports you in further developing and reflecting on your personal teaching competencies. This is achieved through workshops and coaching. In addition, it is possible to obtain the Baden-Württemberg Certificate for Teaching and Learning at University Level by successfully completing the certified qualification workshops.

For organisational units such as institutes, departments or faculties, the HDZ also offers coaching and workshops tailored to specific needs on the subjects of curriculum development, the conversion to bachelor’s and master’s degrees or the integration of e-learning into teaching.

 

Coaching

If you have personal matters of concern or specific questions regarding educational development, the HDZ staff are happy to provide competent support. We offer coaching for all phases of your everyday professional work in higher education.

For organisational units

Team building

In addition to workshops and coaching sessions, the HDZ also offers further education for particular target groups. Apart from conveying specific educational development competences, these workshops are designed to promote teamwork among teachers, for example within an institute or department. If you are interested in an individually designed further education measure on possible teaching improvements for your entire staff, do not hesitate to contact the educational development unit at your university.

 

Structure development
The HDZ provides coaching, further education and/or process guidance to organisational units requesting specific advice on educational development. A prerequisite for this is that the coaching or further education measures involve aspects of quality assurance in teaching (especially useful for faculties) and/or the improvement of teaching from a general perspective. In this area, the HDZ offers, for example, workshops dealing with curricular development, the transition to bachelor’s and master’s degrees or the integration of e-learning into teaching.
