The HDZ and other institutes for educational development in Germany have agreed on common quality standards for the recognition of credits earned in further education programmes in the area of educational development. The goal is to simplify the process of recognising credits earned at other educational development institutes. The quality standards which have to be fulfilled are defined in a formal declaration. The purpose of the agreement is to increase the mobility of participants and to make the programmes available to more people. Courses specifically treating topics of educational development, such as “teaching and learning” and other completed further education courses clearly related to educational development and/or higher education teaching can be recognised. Ziel ist die vereinfachte Anerkennung von Leistungen, die in anderen hochschuldidaktischen Netzwerken und Einrichtungen erbracht wurden. Hierfür hält die Deklaration inhaltliche und formale Standards fest. So sollen die Mobilität der Teilnehmenden und die Nutzbarkeit der Angebote erhöht werden.

Anerkennungsfähig sind alle genuin hochschuldidaktischen Themen, wie z.B. “Lehren und Lernen” und weitere Weiterbildungsleistungen, wenn die Veranstaltungen einen eindeutigen Bezug zur Hochschuldidaktik bzw. Hochschullehre haben.

Nicht anerkennungsfähig sind Leistungen, die im Rahmen eines grundständigen Studiums (auch des Lehramtsstudiums) erbracht wurden. In Einzelfällen können bestimmte andere Leistungen in begrenztem Umfang anerkannt werden. Bitte wenden Sie sich hierzu an die zuständige Arbeitsstelle. Courses completed as part of an undergraduate degree (including teacher education programmes) cannot be recognised. In case of other kinds of courses, recognition may be granted on a case-by-case basis. Please contact the responsible educational development unit in this regard. More information is provided here.
