The Kompetenzzentrum Medizindidaktik Baden-Württemberg, located at the University of Tübingen, offers a comprehensive course programme for higher education teachers in the field of medicine. The goal is to continuously develop and improve the quality of medical education by applying interdiscipli-nary, problem-based and learner-focused teaching and learning methods. The content, format and scope of the qualification programme are based on and inspected according to international standards. The two-tier qualification for teaching “Medical Teaching Qualification I and II” corresponds to the modules I-III of the HDZ and is also part of the independent Baden-Württemberg certificate for medi-cine didactics (Baden-Württemberg-Zertifikat Medizindidaktik).
